gma - Just hang in there! The Lord is on your side and He has a plan for you still! Don't let the enemy win - we are more than conquerors! Our EC are not nearly as upset by this as we are so it is ok to put them to the side and take care of yourself with the Lord's help. Some days just a few minutes at a time. The Lord will bring you through and show you His purpose in all of this. Just remember Job and reread the book. Go to the Psalms too. Praying for you, love and ((((hugs))))) we're all right there with you.

We get very tired physically and emotionally it is true. Please give your EC to the Lord and let Him fight this battle for you. He will! We must take one day at a time as a gift. We are hugging you in prayer. Please do not give up. God has a plan for your life. Stay close to Him and His Word. People you may not even know yet need you.

I know how you feel. Ive had many times where I thought the same thing. God can still use us for his purpose, whatever that may be. Have you tried seeing a counselor? It may help you get over this hurdle, so to speak. We hope and pray for you.

gma, I feel like that ALOT. I pray to God to please, just take me home. I want to be in paradise, not stuck in this unfulfilling, earthly life. Then I think I must be here for a reason, beyond the suffering & trials. I also pray to God to make his purpose for me clear. Yesterday was a BAD day, mostly due to the dreams I had the night before. I hope you get to feeling better, but I do understand & can totally relate. Hang in there!

chocolate, it is funny you should say "our EC aren't near as upset as we are". My husband tells me that all the time. He says "do you think ES is even thinking about what this is doing to you? He does this on purpose because he KNOWS how it tears you up". He is right, I just hate to admit it. The thought of my son not caring that I am in hell, makes me sick to my stomach.

gma6, whenever I feel despair over my circumstance, I remember Our Lord who created us all, and the pain He must feel over our rejection of HIM? How many of his very own creation reject Him? How many want nothing to do with Him? Disrespect Him? Curse him? How painful that must be. For such a loving God, who created us, and who holds the world out for us to enjoy, and so many turn away.
He understands our pain. Even King David had an ES who tried to take his own fathers life. I think this helps us all grow closer to God's mercy seat. I think whenever we cry out to Him about missing our EC, I think He tells us "I understand."

It is so hard living with an ongoing betrayal but we didn't choose this , they did. Thank you of your reminder of Gods continual rejection as well sommersmom.

As this verse says we fight the good fight. Sometimes it seems that going on is a battle. Life is not easy and is often sad. It reminds us that we are not in Heaven,yet. With the Lord's help we can persevere. With His strength, we can keep going. If we do not then the enemy wins.Let's not let the enemy win. I am new to the Bible and was pointed towards the Prodigal Son! When my heart is aching I've found the Bible gives me some warmth.

I feel angry and hardened and desperately worried about the situation my son is in; however, the best we can do is to be there when they fall ... because fall they will, and we can hand them over to GOD, or that greater power.
