MY SON HAS NOT TALKED TO ME FOR 7 MONTHS ,IT BREAKS OUR HEARTS AND WE MUST STAND WITH THE LORD TO GET THROUGH, I THINK HOW COULD MY SON FOR GET ME ,I DO NOT UNDERSTAND, BUT PRAY GOD GETS ME THROUGH, AND SOME DAY HE WILL BE AT MY DOOR, GOD BLESS US ALL, IT SI SO SAD FOR ME BECAUSE I LOST MY DAUGHTER 7 YEARS AGO AND HE IS ALL I HAVE, HUGS TO ALL ,SHIRLEY

try forgive him hurting you first so come forward through forgiving him and asked for Guidance and acceptance when we accept things we can then talk God open heart he knows our needs and will deliver us from this .Your son not Forgotten you he hurting has own agenda deal with , when my sister lost son her daughter felt panic , because felt couldn't take risk in case something happened them put mum though this all over again.Felt never could make up for her loss son so lot may be going on ........start acceptance help some other parent and have faith

I'm so sorry to read your post. It is more than I can bear at times, yet we have the Lord who holds us up when we can't hang on. Praise You O Father, who loves us dearly and weeps when you see the things that go on in our lives. Please help us, I pray in Jesus name ...Amen

Hi Squarley, I am so, so sorry for what you must be going through!! I can feel your heartbreak in your post and how your son could walk away at a time that you certainly need him the most is incomprehensible to me also. The heartbreak of losing a daughter to death and then your last child to estrangement would confuse any caring and loving mother.

Has there been any communication whatsoever during the last 7 months? Do you know of anything specific that might have precipitaed this silence from him?? That might help us to help you a little more.

Hang in there with us and keep talking. We understand, we care and we will do the very best we can to help you through this difficult time.

I am missing my son also dear friend. I last got a simple fifteen minute call back in early August, however, my son was silent for over 9 months up until that brief call..and nothing since then. We will never understand why our grown adult kids find it too easy to just "forget" a loving parent? So sorry that you are missing your son so much too. We all understand each other here, so please know that you have found a safe place to let out your feelings. We pray for each others needs here also, and talk a lot about how God helps us because this forum is based on Christian principles and our faith is really how we like to encourage each other. Praying for you, and glad you found us.

I think its so selfish of your son, knowing you lost your daughter not to try harder to overlook small aurgements. I know your pain our ES hasn't seem us in wow it'll be a yr in Nov. All over him borrowing money and not wanting to return it. So he has sided with his siter that have not talked to us in 17 mths. She is married to a guy we meet twice and he was rude both times. She has pulled away and they now have our 17 mth old GS..who we last saw at his birth. My heart breaks. Never thought ONE let alone BOth children would not speak to me. I have raised them as their father walked away. remarried 16yrs now to a wonderful man who became their stepfather. Its as though her husband s family mean everything and we are set aside. sad for us and GS...Was it a big aurgement that caused him not to see you or something small?
