CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
I am a little confused though as to why you feel the need to find out someones denomination in order to deal with estrangement issues if you want to be friends with everyone.

I am NOT searching out SOMEONE'S denomination... I want to be friends with EVERYONE not just Catholics. But it would also be GREAT to get some help on how to approach MY problem. It is because this IS a Christian site that I thought there would be NO prejudice in my asking.
It's NO BIG DEAL if there are NONE (Catholics) ... Just thought I'd ask. After all I am JUST seeking support and a few FRIENDS if they'll have me!
I will be praying for you and I hope you read the posts and vent here when you need to. You are not alone in your pain...
We are all God's children, he knows we are in pain and he has givens us each other here to support each
other.. i
I am on my I Pad and my thumb keeps hitting the submit button and I am not finished just yet.
Thought I would explain !
I see that you are a former Non-Denominational Evangelical. I am a former Roman Catholic (almost 40 years in the Roman Catholic Church.). I am now a born again Non-Denominational Christian and have been for almost 23 years. I know Roman Catholic teaching very well, having been brought up in it and still having many family members in it that I love dearly. Because of the love that I have for souls my conscience compels me to say that Rome's Gospel and Evangelical Christianity are diametrically opposed to the point that they become two different gospels. That is just a fact when the two teachings are compared. The Roman Catholic Church would agree with that. Here is an excellent link that defines those differences ...
