CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
Strange isn't it that siblings can still be so hard to live with even at our age? You'd think that they would want to come together more but, with many, not all, it doesn't seem to be the case. Jealously and competition for attention with the parents perhaps?
Anyway, thanks for the song. He truly is our resting place when we allow him to take over in our troubled times.
Yes. I hold my sister in contempt for this. Even if not consciously aware; she is a continual irritant. I'm taking my rage to the Lord. Realizing .. seething is pointless. He promises .. He is greater than all the evil around us. When it's in the family .. it's so incredibly threatening. I'm reminded, too, to have faith in my daughter. And that .. the Lord will never leave her. I dislike my sister intensely for exposing my family and me... to her perverted gospel and philosophies. She's not content to mind her own business.
Maybe the Lord has a bigger plan than me. And of course .. I'm being facetious. Of course, He does. Better. I can either rely on my understanding .. or wait for Him.
I will wait .. a day .. or two ..
