CHRISTIAN PARENTS of ESTRANGED ADULT CHILDREN Community Group
Estrangement makes it difficult to talk about with family, friends, neighbors and church members. Christians are NOT immune to broken families. Talk about your experiences with those who know how you feel and get positive support through your Christian faith...."In these last days difficult times will come, for men will be lovers of self...disobedient to parents,...
How is your DH?
How is your DH doing? Our surgeon has us totally confused as he said that got almost all of my DH's cancer and it is not the kind that spreads so we would leave it for now and keep a good eye on it since it can recur. This last visit he told us he wanted to see DH in a month so we could talk about round 2 which he never originally mentioned. So that is now of more concern. Praying your DH is doing well and may God's peace be with you. Hugs
God is so good and blesses us with small blessings sometimes, and sometimes larger blessings. That's why today's verse from 1 Corn. 10:13 touched me.
We trust God to cure my DH of the cancer so that we can grow old together. ES hasn't had any contact with us in over a month and doesn't want to visit. He did ask that I keep him on the email I send out on DH's updates. That is the easy way out for him to feel that he is showing he cares. I say "whatever". God is in control.
You ES and all of our EC are missing out on so much. One day we pray they will wake up and honor their parents the way God commanded.
