Christian overcomers Community Group
This is a Christian Group for people that are seeking healing or overcoming challenges through Biblical advice. Our key verse is 3 John 1:2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

Jesus healed every single person that came to Him and wanted to healing.
A few versed that talk about this:
Mathew 4:23-34 "And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synogogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, adn healing all manner of sickness, and all manner of disease among the people. (24) An his fame went throughout all Syria: and they brought unto him all sick that were taken with diverse diseases and torments, and those which were possessed with devils, and those wich were lunatick, and those that had the palsy, and he healed them.
Acts 10:38 "And you know that God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. Then Jesus went around doing good and healing all that were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him."
His apostles also healed everyone that wanted healing:
Mark 6:12-13 "So the diciples went out telling everyone they met to repent of their sins and turn to God. (13) And they cast out many demons and healed many sick people, anointing them with olive oil."
Acts 5:15-16 "Insomuch that they brought the sick into the streets, and laid them on beds and couches, that at least the shadow of Peter passing by might overshadow some of them. (16) There also came a multitude out of the cities round unto Jerusalem, bringing sickfolks, and them which were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed every one.
Acts 19:11-12 (NLT) "God gave Paul the power to perform unusual miracles. (12) When handkerchiefs or aprons that had merely touched his skin were placed on sick people, they were healed of their diseases, and evil spirits were expelled."
What can we conclude from these verses?
John 5:19 "Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, Verily I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for whatsoever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise." So my understanding of that scripture is that Jesus or any of his disciples would not have been able to heal people unless it was the Father's will, and since Jeus and his disciples healed every single person that asked, can't we conclude that God wants everyone to be well?
Those people did not have to wait until Jesus returned and everything was restored for their healings, they were healed immediately. It is my belief that God also wants us to be well now, not just in the afterlife. But let me back that up with a few other scriptures.
James 5:14-16 14 "Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: 15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
Isaiah 53:4-5 "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."
Notice it says "We ARE healed" not "We WILL be healed." Then in 1 Peter 2:24 it says, "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." There is says "were healed" to me, that means it happened when Jesus hung on the tree. We can receive healing the same way we receive salvation. Matthew 8:16-17 refers to what Isaiah prophesied about "When the even was come, they brought unto him many that were possessed with devils: and he cast out the spirits with his word, and healed all that were sick: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses."
A few other scriptures: 3 John 1:2 says,"Beloved I wish above all things that you prosper and be in good health, even as your soul prospers."
Psalm 103:2-3 "Bless the Lord Oh my soul, and forget not my benefits: who forgiveth all thine iniquities, who healeth all my diseases."
John 10:10-11 "The thief cometh not, but to steal, kill and destroy, I came that they might have life, and have it more abundantly. I am a good shepherd: the shepherd giveth his life for the sheep" My interpretation of that is that Jesus gave his life not only so we could have eternal life, but also so that we could live more abundantly in THIS life, and an abundant life does not include sickness.
Mark 16:17-18 (NKJV)17 And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; 18 they[ will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”
Ephesians 3:20 "Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us,"
In light of my own spiritual thoughts, we may empty our soul, brain and heart of all care and attain a state of tranquility. The best is to allow God to take that heart of a stone out of our flesh and give daintily a loyal lovely heart. His own Heart. Inside of us; replacing the lowly heart with His own power of greatness; yet we will look forward to that moment as a relief from the oppression of brokenness. In worldly flesh, we are weak and frail, only God can rebuild a lowly heart to that of a strong and faithful heart. He is the God of miracles.
I pray:
Gracious God of Promise, Father who will always work the impossible in our mortal lives, we reach for Thee in strong faith, to change lowly hearts to strong and faithful hearts. Kindly, we ask in faith, expecting to receive Thy Holy grace, and we hope for bountiful mercy; for we are humbled by Thy great love for Thy children.
Bless Thy Name our God, and we ask this old heart for a new healing, of Thee, in the Holy Name of Thy Son, Jesus, Our Christ and our Savior of the world. Thy will be done. We thank Thee. Amen.
