Christian overcomers Community Group
This is a Christian Group for people that are seeking healing or overcoming challenges through Biblical advice. Our key verse is 3 John 1:2 "Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth."

Part 2 of My notes from Barry Bennett's sermon: " How Are Things Conceived?"
Yesterday we left off with asking the question, How can healing be conceived?
1 Peter 1:23 says, “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed.”
“Seed” in the agricultural world is the same concept as “conception” is the human world. It’s going to germinate in the soil. So there’s going to be a “conception” of the seed in the soil.
We are born not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible seed. Something is born from conception. In this case THE WORD is the seed. God’s Word needs a receptive heart if it is going to germinate and reproduce.
We get born again when God’s Word is planted in our heart and conception takes place. Eternal life is conceived, and everything contained in that package comes with it.
“Saved” in the Greek is the word “Sozo.” It is the same word that was translated “healing.” If I believe in my heart that I was “Sozoed” (saved), which includes physical healing, where did it come from? The belief came from a conception.
Proverbs 4:23 “Keep your heart with all diligence, for out of it spring the issues of life.”
Then Barry says, “Out of the SOIL of your heart spring the issues of life. Something first had to be conceived in your heart in order for something to spring forth from it.”
The negative side of conceiving things in your heart would be Matthew 15:19 “For out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies.”
The positive side of conceiving things would be Romans 10:8-10 “8 But that does it say? “The word is near you, in your mouth and in your heart” That is, the word of faith which we preach: 9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
To be saved, the conception of God’s Word found a place in your heart, you believed it, and spoke it. Your heart is the soil, it believes the seeds that are sown, either positive or negative. Conception requires acceptance, you have to accept what is being offered. The same incorruptible seed (The Word) that saves you, is the same seed that heals you.
When bad news comes, such as a bad doctor’s report, it has the potential to sow bad news into your heart, it will be conceived in you IF you accept it and are receptive to it. The image you have in your mind will change the way you think, talk, and expect if you allow it to be conceived. OR you can choose to see yourself healed, whole, and well and allow that image to be conceived in your heart. It is a choice we have to make. What are we going to allow to be conceived?
He gives some testimonies. One about his son being healed after falling off of a roof, one of himself being healed when he had skin cancer, and one about his son being pronounced dead in the womb (he is now 40 years old). In all cases he had to battle what he allowed to be conceived in his heart. The bad report, or healing.
Matthew 12:35 “A good person produces good things from the treasury of his heart, and an evil person produces evil things from the treasury of an evil heart.” You will see the harvest of the seed that is planted in your heart, and your heart is waiting to conceive the Word of God for healing. The doctor’s report may be a fact, but God’s Word is truth. “By his stripes I am healed” is truth. “No weapon formed against me shall prosper” is truth. These are the truths you need to conceive in your heart.
How will you know when you have conceived? Conception creates vision. When you have conceived you will have a new vision. Your focus will change, and you will start planning for a healthy life. You will see yourself healed and your life changed. When healing is conceived in your heart you will become thankful even before you see it happen.
Matthew 9:29 "...According to your faith be it unto you."
Meditate on the Word (healing Scriptures) to conceive your healing: meditate on the Word, see it fulfilled, imagine it, and declare it.
Psalm 107:20 " He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions."
