Christian Fellowship Community Group
A safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies. Please let us know your needs, concerns and have some fun getting to know each other. We treat each other with respect.

I'm fairly new to the group too , though I've been on DS for a while.
I look forward to getting to know you :)
Blessings
I check daily so when someone says something, there will be replies. Right now this group is a quiet place where members, mostly Christians, stop by to say hi. I believe God answers our prayers when we pray for someone and is pleased to see DS still has a group where people talk about Him. As the group's description states this group is "a safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies."
I hope you feel comfortable reading and posting when you want to. If you like to tell us a little bit about yourself, please do so. I am 70 years old, female. Again it is nice to meet you. I hope you and everyone have a nice Christmas.
Christian fellowship is so very important.
I'm 49, female Christ follower. Married with 2 adult kids.
I have a condition known as BPD caused by an early childhood brain injury. (Basically my brain can't regulate neurotransmitters and maintain its own chemical balance so I'm prone to deep depressive episodes and or hypothermia and anxiety)
It's complicated....but God is my rock and my foundation. Though I'm certain He never intended me or anyone else to suffer depression, I am confident that He never leaves me to suffer alone but rather sits beside me sustaining me.
And is the only reason I have survived this long.
Well that's just a little about me....lol probably to much .
Merry Christmas
I didn't expect my life to turn upside down at a very young age, and it was not easy to accept my fate. Doctors say people with mental illness can get better when they get much older. I still have anxiety and worry but hope 2025 will be better. This year was quite a shipwreck experience for me, and I blamed it on the tree of knowledge of good and evil, a long story, and it messed up my relationship with God a little bit. I felt I insulted God. I think I just had difficulty dealing with my own shortcomings and had to lash out at someone, and it happened to be God and the apple tree. I was upset He put the tree of knowledge of good and evil in the garden and spent the whole year apologizing to God. Luckily for me, God is a patient God. He knows I have been patient too with the life difficulties I had to go through. I feel I am a spoiled believer. I hope to be able to think more positive and hopeful soon.
By the way, my daughter is not a believer. I thought my husband recently believed but he later said he is not a believer. I think he was confused. I don't want to ask him right now yet because it seems he does not know whether he is Christian or not but he is familiar with the Bible.
Well, that is a long confession from me. I am glad you joined the group's conversations. Please keep each other in prayers and hold on to our faith. May God give us healing and good
things and draw us close to Him.
