Emotions and urges are part of the deal when you are young. Well, now that I think of it, I'm 52 and still full of emotions and urges. LOL

All through your life there will be temptations to sin. Good for you for choosing to wait to have sex when you are married, as God intends. The anxiety you are going through now will strengthen you in obedience to God.

You might find it helpful to talk with some other people going though similar anxieties. Perhaps a group at your church or elsewhere. It looks like you've found some groups here at DS, maybe there's a young person here in this group too.

Something I've noticed over the years is that usually the stuff I sweated and fretted about most worked out just as well as the stuff I was confident and carefree about. In any case, keep talking to God. Tell him all about it.

I'm 25 (just a little older than you), but I remember what it was like to be your age and I had those thoughts too. Unfortunately, I gave in to the temptation...and not a day goes by that I don't regret it. Wisdom is doing today what you will be okay with tomorrow. Don't rush into it- you will regret it if you give in, I promise you that. Use your time pusuing godly things. Philippians 4:8 says, "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable-- if anything is excellent or praiseworthy-- think about such things" (NIV).

Test every thought according Philippians 4:8. If it doesn't fit into any of those categories (true, noble, right, pure, etc), get it out of your mind. The battle is either lost or won in the mind. If the devil can keep you thinking about it, it will be easier for him to lure you into doing it.
