Hebrews 10:36 is the verse from "28 days..." I want to back up a few verses to put it in context.
Hebrews 10:32-36 (NLT)
"Think back on those days when you first learned about Christ. Remember how you remained faithful even though it meant terrible suffering. (33) Sometimes you were exposed in public riducule and were beaten, and somtimes you helped others who were suffering the same things. (34) You suffered along with those who were thrown in jail, and when all you owned was taken from you, you accepted it with joy. You knew there were better things waiting for you will last forever. (35) So do not throw away this confident trust in the Lord. Remember the great reward it brings you! (36) Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God's will. Then you will receive all that he has promised."
My comments: We don't know persecution and suffering like the early church did, so it should be much easier for us to remain faithful and have patient endurance to continue to do God's will.

To me, put in context, the verse is referring to having patient endurance to suffer persecution for Christ, so we can continue His mission and keep speaking out for Him and doing His will. The verse prior says if we continue to do that, then we will have great rewards.
