This is a near death experience which I watched yesterday and found it quite amazing.

8 But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day.
9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
I believe these "near death" experiences are visions from God to get us back on the path He has chosen for us. Some of us learn these lessons without these visions. Some need a little, more prodding. God gives to each of us what is needed.
My experience......I had a stroke which caused a coma. During this time, I had no visions (that I remember). But, I did experience a sense of calm, a sense of peace, a sense of being held in HIS arms, for a time of rest. For each od us, the experience is different. Just like our lives are different. Just like we, all, are different.
Some sense of peace came over me during a close call to dying when in a bicycle accident.
