Kathy, I am and will continue to pray for you. In our weakness He is made strong, and this will be a time He will display His love, strength and His perfect comfort. That is the God we serve; how wonderful.

Dear Lord Jesus, bless Kathy as she goes into her surgery on Thursday. We bring her before you as her need is so great, I pray you will be with her through this ordeal and keep her strong both emotionally and physically, in your name Jesus, amen.

Looks like We are in the same boat. I go into surgery on the 27th for a PLIF, that's Posterior Lumbar Interbody Fusion. Yes it sounds bad and its a major surgery :(

Dear Kathy,
I will be thinking of you and paying for you as you prepare to go into hospital and also for the day of your surgery.

Gracious God,
we praise you for your love which never lets us go.
We thank you that you love each one of us
as if there were only one of us to love.
Let us be awake to your presence by day and by night,
even if we feel helpless and alone.
May we experience what our saviour promised:
" I will be with you ALWAYS"
May that give Kathy a trust which nothing can shake,
a peace that can weather every storm,
and your grace which can enter the depth of her being,
bringing wholeness of body, mind and spirit.
Enfold her in your unfailing love,
so that she may be strengthened in weakness and be full of hope.

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that. I think everyone should pray for you and not Me. I have a choice with this surgery but I doubt you do.
