STRIVING FOR THE HIGHEST GOAL
The highest goal is described by the Apostle Paul: "becoming like Him in His death, and so, somehow, to attain to the resurrection from among the dead. (Phil. 3.10)
Will not all dead be raised, in particular the believers in Christ to eternal life? Yes, but there is a special resurrection which stands out among the general resurrection, which is the resurrection of the firstfruits, the overcomers, who have not loved their lives even unto death (Rev. 12.11) and are so conformed into the likeness of His death and will therefore like Christ not see decay, as it is written: "You will not let see your Holy One decay" (Psalm 16.10) and "whosoever lives and believes in me will never die" (John 11.26)
Only those few chosen ones of the little flock will be ready for the rapture. These are the souls that have experience their own, individual Calvary by being faithful witnesses to the Gospel-truth of perfection in Christ. They are the remnant, God has reserved for Himself, the
144 000 who follow the lamb wherever He goes and they are without blemish. (Rev. 14)
They are the ones that have received in faith the glory of God, the selfsame glory the Lord received from the Father (John 17) and in turn gave to His disciples. Only through this glory of spiritual perfection the perfect unity among the believers can be achieved and a credible witness to the word can be established.
This is the glory of having been made perfect by suffering (Heb. 2.10, 1. Peter 4.1-2) of having experienced the cup or baptism of suffering, (Mark 10.38) and so share the glory of His resurrection from among the dead. (Heb. 2.10, 1. Peter 4.1-2)
If we want to belong to these overcomers, we must be willing to walk a lonely road, often misunderstood and despised even by fellow believers who are dear to us.

After that I saw and beheld a great multitude , that no one could count, from every nation, tribe,people and language , standing before the Throne and before the Lamb
