I BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE 2 TYPES OF CHRISTIANS THAT I AFFECTIONATELY CALL SAINTS AND SOLDIERS. SAINTS ARE GOOD LITTLE BOYS AND GIRLS THAT GO ALONG WITH MORAL SOCIETY AND TYPICALLY JUDGE THOSE THAT DON'T THE MOST HARSHLY. NOW SOLDIERS ARE THE OUTCASTS OF SOCIETY AND TYPICALLY DANCE TO THE BEAT OF THEIR OWN DRUM AND DON'T GET CAUGHT UP IN ALL OF THE LEGALISM OF CHRISTIANITY. THEY LOVE PEOPLE FOR WHO THEY ARE AND ACCEPT THEM THE BEST THEY CAN AND LET THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB COVER THE REST.

NEEDLESS TO SAY, I WROTE THE ABOVE FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF A SOLDIER, BUT I WOULD LIKE FOR YOU TO DESCRIBE WHAT YOU ARE FROM YOUR PERSPECTIVE...AND IF YOU COME UP WITH A DIFFERENT CATEGORY FOR YOURSELF, THAT'S ALL THE BETTER. PLEASE JUST DESCRIBE IT AND WHAT IT MEANS TO YOU.

That is very interesting. I'd never thought of it that way and I have no idea which I am. I usually just call myself a "Martha."

I do know that I don't like it when churches impose "rules" that have nothing to do with scriptures and don't seem to pray on things, just go with the view that interests them personally. Such as expecting a person to help with an event that the person doesn't think is spiritually "sound" and doesn't leave room for the person to pray and search for themselves which tasks God wants them to do do. Maybe that makes me a Soldier. ?

I am a soilder, I believe in God ..and that he sent his only son to die on the cross for our sins. I don't attend church all that often but read my bible often enough. I respect everyone for who they are and do not judge.
I am the forgotten soilder..feel like God has crossed me off his list.. wonder when i get to heaven to be judged for my sins if God will even know who i am..i pray for peace i pray God will forgive me the way i have forgiven my enemies,and those that have hurt me.
