Even in other christian beliefs , you or I can become a saint. It is not for us to decide if we become one, it is up to the lord jesus christ to decided this. Bapist, ,Lutherans, evangelical. Anyone of us can becomes saints in the eyes of god. You can be married , a sinner, most saint like saint Francis liked to party too much an spend his familys money. What I am saying is all of can be a saint. Ihope you understand.

I do believe he preached this to ALL--called to be saints.

Not sure why we edify people to sainthood. All the apostles were called saints. There are tons of saints. God refers to all His children as saints.

I do not pray to the saints, nor do I pray to Mother Mary. I pray to the Trinity, to God the Father, Jesus His Son and to the Holy Spirit. I hope I don't offend anyone. That's just me.
