praying for protection

I am a catholic and pray the rosary daily. I pray for protection for alot of things , family the united states, alot of things. I I've suffer alot because of bipolar axiety and ocd ptsd. I really know prayer does work. Maybe not in our time but in the Lords time. He listens an hears us.

Sure, we are all impatient to have our prayers answered right away
But for his purposes—and often for our own growth—the answer is sometimes Wait. And it might be Wait a Long Time. Look at some of the Biblical characters
Joseph was in jail for years before he was called to interpret Pharaoh’s dream
Abraham was a pretty old man before Isaac was born

We live in a culture of instant gratification, so we expect instant answers to our prayers. And often that does happen. But commonly we are asked to wait upon the Lord and his good timing

The bible says to pray for protection on Israel, we pray for Gods wisdom and protection on our world leaders, we pray for our country that god will again protect our leaders and give them his wisdom..pray USA will continue to protect and remain allies with Israel for when we protect Israel we are protected...pray for your state...that they will have gods wisdom in making decisions for the state and for the protection of our state leaders.....pray for families and friends....pray for their salvation and pray for protection.
God hears our prayers and know our hearts and yes god answers prayers through his timing....

Yes, God definitely hears our prayers, and answers us in His time. In addition to "Wait," His answer may sometimes be "No." We may not always understand His reasons, but must trust that His plan is much greater than any plan we might have.

Stay steadfast and keep praying without "ceasing" Angie. God ineed may not answer as fast as we would like or even how we would like, but He DOES answer prayer even if it is with the word NO!!!

Every time I think upon prayer (talking with God) I think of a joke I once heard:

A man was once praying when he suddenly asked God, "God....what's a million dollars like to you?"
God answered, "Well, that's just a penny!"

The man continued to pray. Suddenly, he asked, "God....what's a million years like to you?"
God answered, "Oh, my child, That's like a minuet!"

The man thought about this. Then, suddenly, he prayed, "God....I sure could use a few pennies!"
God answered, "Give me a few minuets!!"
