I have been sick with sinus/flu and Orthostatic hypotension, dizziness that causes me to fall, since the past three weeks and couldn't go out to see the doctor or to ER because I am ill and weak and couldn't shovel the snow to clear the driveway. The snow is so thick now that the postal carrier won't deliver our mail and packages. Close to midnight tonight I looked outside and saw the part of our front lawn and most of the driveway had been shovelled by some good Samariton. I still need to shovel a little bit more at the driveway in order to be able to drive the car out but it should take less than half and hour. With that much snow, it usually took me three and a half hour to shovel. I have a phone doctor visit with a doctor at my family doctor's clinic tomorrow (Thursday) for my dizziness problem. I am not sure my cell phone will be able to receive the virtual visit. Please pray that I will be able to be seen by a doctor or go to ER before I fall and get injured or die. Please also pray that God will show me and my daughter whether she should try to continue her winter class or drop it. I am the one who drives her to the class. If my ill condition goes on, it will be dangerous to my health, me risking falling or getting into car crashes while driving. I hope you all are safe and well.

My phone doctor visit has to be virtual and through the cell phone (not computer). I never had virtual anything with this cell phone before so I am not sure it will work.

The anonymous person who used a snow blower to help shovel the snow for us must be our neighbor on the left or right side of our house.

Sending healing prayers your way. I grew up in Muskegon and lived there for about 25 years, so I understand the heavy snows. That is a beautiful praise report. I also pray you and daughter can hear God’s direction regarding her classes. Amen

Thank you for your prayers and the article. I made it to ER yesterday but the trips were rough. The city didn't plow the street in front of our house and near by so my car got stuck near the intersection close to our house. I called AAA and had them tow the car and me to ER. I told them I was on my way to ER when the car got stuck in the snow. On my way back home, the city had plowed the street and threw the snow from the street onto our driveway, and our car got stuck at the driveway. I shovelled around the tires again and again and could not move the car until two young neighbor teenage girls came to help. I hope the car has not been damaged again from the tires rubbing on the ice (banging on it back and forth). My whole body was aching. The ER doctor thinks my problem is caused by dehydration and told me to drink a lot of fluid. My daughter decided to drop her class today. Thank you for your prayers. Oh my. Winters in West Michigan can be rough! I tell people all the time that water is life! If you’re not up for drinking the recommended 8 glasses, 64 oz per day…start smaller with 5 or 6 cups. Maybe change it up with some herbal teas (like peppermint). Praying for your continued health. Hydration is just as important in the winter as it is in the summer (be well)

Well ... my dizziness problem changed from being dizzy when getting out of bed to getting dizzy when lying down which I wonder came from the trauma from all the stressful movements while I was out getting in the snow. It may have to do with some inner ear problem. The dizziness (vertigo) was pretty bad the past two nights. I had this happen before but not this bad.

Thank you for suggesting the tea. I think that will work better. I have not had tea for a long time and don't do well with drinking water. I drink coke which can give me high sugar. My doctor told me I am pre-diabetic. I hope this crazy cold weather goes away soon. I managed to go out to warm up the car's engine yesterday and should do it again today. I hope everyone is safe and keeping warm.
