PEARLS OF DIVINE PROMISES 22
“Go, wash yourself seven times in the Jordan, and your flesh will be restored and you will be cleansed.” 2.Kings 5.10
This test of obedience as condition for his healing disappointed and infuriated Naaman. He thought that the prophet would surely come out to him and stand and call on the name of his god, wave his hand over the spot and cure him of leprosy. But God can not be dictated the conditions necessary for healing but requires His own conditions. And the prerequisite of any healing of body or soul is the obedience of faith, namely doing exactly what God asks us to do. This can be one thing for one believer, and something else for another, just as He thinks best. As soon as the conditions are met the promise too can be fulfilled.
“And God said, ‘Let there be light’, and there was light.” Genesis 1.3
As the first act of creation, God began His work in this world with the Word
of authority: ‘Let there be light’. In the same way He begins His work of grace in the soul of man, which by nature is dominated by darkness. If we are to be transformed again into the light of God, it is necessary for Him to shine light into our soul. This will result, though, in us having to see the desolate and bleak state of our soul. The brighter the light shines into our heart the more thorough we come to see our filth and wickedness. Although painful, it is wholesome.
“And God said, ‘Let there be an expanse between the waters to separate water from water. Genesis 1.6
Where God is at work, divisions always take place. Heavenly things must be separated from earthly and sinful things. One could say that the restoration of fallen man is accomplished through continued divisions, separating the sinful from the godly. “For the Word of God is living and powerful, sharper than any double-edged sword; it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.” (by Christian Roeckle)

Matthew 10:34-37
Think not that I come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword.
For I am come to set man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.

Even our earthly families will be broken up in favor for what God has preordained!!! That's right "division" IS coming folks. In that you can be certain!!!
