Music is also a way to worship God..and prayers can be sung straight from our hearts to God's.
Our prayers are just like worship and praise to the Lord..He smiles when He hears them!...so sing a song to the Lord, and it will be just like praying to Him.
We can rejoice with those who are gifted in music as they help us to worship and praise the Lord.
I missed my Christian music some on my trip away. I did hear a lot of New Age type of music being played in stores and in some of the fancier restaurants..and I was missing the familiar Christian songs that I usually listen to. Music is from God. Today, it has been somewhat corrupted by satan and those who are not of our Christian faith, however we can be so thankful for this precious gift to share with others.
Maybe it's time to start a "Song sharing" thread, because it seems we still need it to encourage one another this way at times when we get discouraged. It always helps me..and hopefully some of you as well.
