I watched a biography movie on Rich Mullins in the last year. I had always loved his songs especially our God is an Awesome God. But I had not known about him. So when I watched the movie, it really gave me more understanding of the Rich Mullins and the Ragmuffin band. He really had a spiritual battle going on in his life as he was writing songs. God definitely had a purpose in the short life span. God definitely knew what He was doing in taking him home when He did. We can never question the time of GOD. Just like HE took Keith Green in his young life and radiant ministry.
These two men were definitely apart of the beginning movement of the Christian Music Industry. I praise God for them! Where would I be without Godly music! Music is so much a part of my daily life. The same as David when he was a young man out in the fields writing Psalms or in the battle grounds with King Saul or in his own time reigning as King. Music is definitely a gift from God for us who are musically attuned.
