Rich Mullins was..a. man of God!!! He was only 41 when God took him home. But, God allowed this man to leave us some wonderful worship songs.

My Deliverer must be one of my top 10 all-time favorite Rich Mullins songs.
Thank you Brighte and Mary. Rich Mullins was a singer whose songs I loved, but didn't know who they were by until after he died and the radio station played them all in a row.

When I was a child I had Jesus in my heart and then I became proud and left Our Saviour

Thank God he took me back and Rich Mullins made a big impact on me in the mid 90's in my positive change
I was extremely impressed when I read in the past that he gave most of his money to charities and was not sure of the amount he made
He had a tragic car accident & went to Heaven so young but I'm sure many will Never forget him and we will be with him soon.

While working with the youth group in Bixby, OK in the late 80's, we had the pleasure of having Rich and his band preform at our church. After the concert Rich and the band and the youth group and my husband and I went to the pizza parlor. We were able to sit and visit with Rich, he was an awesome man of God. While we were there, he and his band sang, "screen door," for everyone. It's one of my favorites. Rich's jeep was hit by a semi truck while on his way to a concert with his best friend. He was run over twice. His best friend was not hurt. He lived on min. wage, his book keeper gave the rest to Champions of Christ Ministries and others. He loved traveling around the world visiting children in need. He never married, he just loved his dog, Bear. He lived on a reservation in Window Rock, AZ. in a small trailer.I hope he will always be remembered for his beautiful down to earth praise songs and hymns. The group stayed together long enough to finish producing, "The Record," Rich's last piece he was working when the Lord took him. After they finished it they disbanded to each do their own thing.

Side note: Rich was ready to go and meet his Lord Jesus, he would only miss his dog, Bear. He was tired of the world as it was growing. Jesus took him home.

Very talented man....he struggled throughout life and struggled to fit in and yet god used him with music and he worked with kids...if you have netflix they had a movie of his life called Ragamuffin.
