The wisdom of the fathers
LETTING GOD DIRECT YOUR PATH
A common mistake today is to think that everything ought to be done IN A REMENDOUS HURRY. With God it is not so. God takes plenty of time, and He has a wonderful way of developing things as He goes along. Nothing that you undertake will fail, if only you do not forget what was told you - and if you act upon it.
Notice how different Joshua and Caleb were from the ten spies. The others returned from spying out the Promised Land with a negative report, saying the enemy would defeat God's people. Joshua and Caleb responded, "If the Lord delights in us, the He will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land that flows with milk and honey. Only do not rebel against the Lord, neither fear the people of the land." (Nm. 14.8-9)
That is the way of people who are baptised in the Holy Spirit. They are no longer living in the natural; they are directed by the Spirit; they are turned into new people.
Where are you fixed? Is God the Holy Spirit arranging things for you, or are you arranging things according to your own plan? A person filled with the Holy Spirit has ceased to be, in a sense; he has come to rest, he has come where God is working, to a place where he can "stand still and see the salvation of the Lord." Such a person has ceased from his own works and abilities and associations. He will not trust his own heart; he relies on the omnipotent power of the Most High. (by Smith Wigglesworth)

What’s the biggest challenge in your life right now?

Romans 5:1-5
1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 By whom also we have access by faith into the grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
4 And patience experience; and experience, hope:
5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. (King James Bible)
When we are directed by the Spirit we act in this way.
