I am 26 and I am waiting until marriage to be involved sexually with my future wife. I have been reading where it's a sin or not a sin to masturbate. I did some research and I see that people say men NEED to masturbate because they need that release and also how it prevents prostate cancer. If this is the case, and God loves us all then why is masturbation a sin.

I want everyone to know that I am also going to post this in the abstinence and Celibacy group too . Not because I am here playing games but I also know a few people in that group as well.

OK, I'll dive in.

I believe that GOD will let you know if masturbating is a sin for you or not .

Let the Holy Spirit guide you.

Masturbation is probably a lot better than pre-marital sex

There is a scripture in the OT about masturbation being a sin, but that particular situation was because Onin wasn't doing GOD's will, by being a husband to his wife

Just my opinion, maybe someone else has more ideas

Kevin ,,I suggest that you go ask your Pastor about this. I am not an expert at answering questions. Pray to God and ask Him ..I agree with Dancing

I am sincere, sorry about the typo as it was a honest mistake. I am just confused about that because my body tells me it's fine but then after I masturbate, I feel guilty and that God is looking down on me that I was wrong,

Then don't do it if you think God is telling you its wrong..Now please stop talking about this here..I suggested you go to a minister or pastor or priest and ask them. I will remove this thread because I don't think its appropriate
