Hello there. I can totally understand your fear. I will definitely lift you up in prayer. I don't feel like I can advise you on what to do, but this came to mind.

Often God gives direction one step at a time then waits for you to be obedient. Think of Noah when he was told to start building an ark. He was told to build it and that was all for about 100 years! Most likely telling Noah all the details at once would have caused him to panic in fear or procrastinate or maybe even not do it at all. Also, if God said He was going to make it rain, Noah would have been confused because at that time it didn't rain on the earth. So, it is possible you are being told one step and just having that step doesn't make sense to you right now because you are not all knowing like God. Remember King David was anointed king ten years before Saul died and he spent most of those years in hiding because Saul was trying to kill him. I'm not saying that will happen to you, just saying that for a time when you step out in faith, it won't always be smooth sailing and all fall together. We know Jesus promised us trouble would come, but He also promised He would be with us during that trouble. (John 16:33)

Beautifully said misred. I too will pray for clear guidance. Remember always keep your gaze upon our lord... stay humble and low before him for he is a God of mercy and grace. Be confident in faith that God will give you the strength for you to carry anything he desires through. Like misred mentioned on our obedience... Usually that first step will suffice.. Then and only then do we feel God's strength through grace. I heard a great analogy on grace once, it goes, imagine God wanted you to jump 10 feet off the ground, an impossible feat. You place your faith that God will find a way for u to succeed... and by faith in knowing God, you jumped 3 feet off the ground. But by God's grace he will then push your feet up off the remaining ground 7ft midair and ensure you cover the 10ft. This is how God works. He wants to make sure you are dependent on him fully. He wants to show you how he works and is presenting an impossible feat before you in order for you will to act in faith. Faith in him to make the impossible possible.. It's just up to you do what you can and he will astonish you with his grace. Be like Peter, #1 keep your eyes on your God (faith) #2 throw your feet over the boat (obedience) and #3 let God show you the impossiblilty of walking on water (grace). For those kinds of experiences mold us, allow for us to be stronger in faith and bring glory to him by sharing our testimony allowing others to bear witness and also be changed and inspired. That is how God works! Glory be to God! I pray the first steps become more clear to you. I pray in JESUS' name that you find comfort in seeking and loving the truth, amen.
