I don't know if I am the answer to anyone's prayer, but as my children grew, I always prayed they would have Christian spouses. I prayed for the spouse as well as my children, even though I did not know their names.

God blessed me with all 4 children marrying Christians, none of whom they met in church. But the interesting thing, is I was talking to one DIL, and telling her she was the answer to my prayers of over 20 years, and she said her mom said the same thing about my son. He was the answer to her mom's prayers for a Christian spouse. Amazing how God answered the heartfelt prayers of two moms, in one marriage.

I cannot say if I am an answer to prayer or not, but I have been told by many that I am and will use the pain that i have been through in my life to help others. God has given me the gift of words and I love writing, both stories and poetry. On many accasions when I have sent things I have written to others, I have had replies from people say that it is just what they needed to hear. Because my poems have shown, both real pain and victory, many people can identify with them. I dont accept any of the credit for this gift, it comes completely from God and I will use it for His glory.

In the grand scheme of things we are as a grain of sand on a beach. It sounds as if you have both have had answered prayers and been the answer to some elses' prayer. I guess if we are all grains of sand and enough grains of sand do the Lord's work we will be a beach worth visiting.

I so get what you mean and agree. I love your analogy. I think very much like that. The church is the body of Christ and if all the grains of sanIf d worked together what an amazing body Christ would have. People would come from everywhere to see it.

I like your analogy of the grains of sand, too. Today, our pastor was talking about us being sheep, another Biblical metaphor, and how we need the Great Shepherd, but sheep also need each other. I know God is going to draw us all together, to win the world to Christ, so He can return to his church. I am so excited about that day!
