My husband hurt his knee in the Air Force twenty-seven years ago. He complained aobut it all the time, but never went to the doctor. He's just one of those guys that refuses to admit any weakness. In 2007 his knee basically fell apart and he had to have knee surgery. He applied for VA compensation after that. For four years we have been waiting, counting on that money to finishs our house and pay off a bunch of little bills. Yesterday we got a letter from the VA saying his claim has been denied. I was very disappointed.
Fortunatey I had watched a movie yesterday called the THE ENCOUNTER. It reminded me that the Lord has a plan for us. For each and every one of us. A plan that will give us a good life here on earth.
Somewhere along the line my husband and I strayed off His path. Well, that's not true. I know exactly where I strayed.
Never the less, I know that even now the Lord has a plan for us. We need to renew our love and devotion to Him.Not for earthly rewards, but for the plessure and joy of our Lord. My faith that the Lord loves us and will provide for us is not deminished by this setback. Things happen in our lives that disappoint us and leaves us wondering sometimes; but have faith that He is still with us and our lives are in His control. We meerly need to submit to Him.
My hope is that this message may encourage some ohters here that feel let down by some of the things that have happened in thier lives.
