..feel like I am being so selfish here...seems the only time I read or post anything on groups is when Im feeling low...But its so hard for me to read of other peoples pain when Im doing good...I have noticed over the years that it has become a trigger to me and brings me right back down again...sounds like an excuse I know...but I just dont know... anyway...have been feeling really depressed for the last 3 weeks and nothing seems to be bringing me eout of this hole.... I see a Christian counselor and a psychiatrist every 2 weeks to manage my meds...cant retype everything...there is more in my journal...
Guess is all I need to say is, I need prayer...and lots of it...

Prayers will be going up for you, keep reading all the healing scriptures, they help us when nothing else seems to, always in the good times and rough times, hang in there and I know it will be better for you. God bless you and keep you in His loving hands. Also have to agree with you concerning the groups, it can trigger us but it also can make us feel better if there is just one that maybe we can touch and support in their time of need. You sound like a very caring and full of compassion type and that is what we all need in each other. Praise the Lord for He is our Helper.

Don't feel guilty about asking for prayer or feeling selfish. If you can't ask for help @ DS, where can you ask for help????

Depression is a bumber for sure -- do u have a close friend or prayer partner who u confide in ? -
I ask becaue in my very deepest depression I did manage to call my friend /prayer partner and as I lay defeated on the couch - she read scriptures to me - bless her heart - she read for over an hr. - Glory
it broke the depression and allthough I have suffered since - never again so deeply - I now have a cd of healing scriptures which I'm quick to pop in and position myself relaxed and listen - receiving and soaking it in - so far so good for me -- I will pray for u --

I will also pray for you. Depression is real, it is hard, and it hurts. I am glad you came out in the open. Keep up the fight- Read Psalm 42, that helped me with my depression - the only solution is the Lord.

I second Angela- seems like most of us will run into burdens that seem too heavy if we carry the banner of Christ-- I know depression may have a chemistry issue causing it tho, so must be treated if the case. If you're just feeling miserable cuz of too many bad things hittin you at once, I can relate with that one.... Must run to Jesus in any/all storms of life or it will eat you up & spit you out. I will pray you find much comfort in Him. :)
