Christian Fellowship Community Group
A safe place for Christians who Love Jesus Christ to meet and ask for prayer and share scriptures from the bible. We value the posting of Christian music, poems, stories and also personal testimonies. Please let us know your needs, concerns and have some fun getting to know each other. We treat each other with respect.

But more than anything, you need to realize what Jesus did for you on the cross. You ARE a new creature in Christ if you have accepted Him as your Lord and Savior. No one can take that from you.
In scripture, Satan is known as "the great accuser" and the "father of lies". I believe that Satan can act through others to accuse us of wrongdoing or tell us "we are not good enough". But WE ARE good enough, because of Jesus' sacrifice. Remember that.
2 Cor 5:17: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come."
and from Romans 8:31-end
"What can we ever say to such wonderful things as these? If God is on our side, who can ever be against us? 32 Since he did not spare even his own Son for us but gave him up for us all, won’t he also surely give us everything else? 33 Who dares accuse us whom God has chosen for his own? Will God? No! He is the one who has forgiven us and given us right standing with himself.
34 Who then will condemn us? Will Christ? No! For he is the one who died for us and came back to life again for us and is sitting at the place of highest honor next to God, pleading for us there in heaven.
35 Who then can ever keep Christ’s love from us? When we have trouble or calamity, when we are hunted down or destroyed, is it because he doesn’t love us anymore? And if we are hungry or penniless or in danger or threatened with death, has God deserted us? 36 No, for the Scriptures tell us that for his sake we must be ready to face death at every moment of the day—we are like sheep awaiting slaughter; 37 but despite all this, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ who loved us enough to die for us.
38 For I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from his love. Death can’t, and life can’t. The angels won’t, and all the powers of hell itself cannot keep God’s love away. Our fears for today, our worries about tomorrow, 39 or where we are—high above the sky, or in the deepest ocean—nothing will ever be able to separate us from the love of God demonstrated by our Lord Jesus Christ when he died for us."
Blessings to you today.
I too am sorry of all that you endured with your aunt. The emotional and psychological scars will take much time to even begin to heal. I believe the problem you have as a residue affect to that is the connection you no longer feel with the church and religion of Christianity. That is a problem I too have struggled with... in the end however religion and your relationship with God (your spirituality) are two differences. There are many aspects of Buddhism such as meditation that are not unique to eastern medicine, it just has a different twist to it. I find when I read Buddhist teachings, are much in the same as Christianity, they are just worded differently. I would say however those are deep waters you could unexpectedly tread for when you are seeking something more radical at times we forget the simplest act is all that we need to feel that warmth of love and peace we so desperately seek. Try and adopt the good of the religion if you wish, but I would say instead of clearing your mind of nothing, think of God, instead of praising Buddha praise the lord. All of these techniques can be adopted however remember to always serve your God. He is here for you upon your request. The love I feel through God is one I never encountered during my personal search. It is a feeling that I have only heard Christians describe. It is one of acceptance and release. I believe what you search for your in your life is clarity, love, acceptance and peace. Reach out to God in prayer, let your heart speak to him, let him hear your cries of fear, do not put on the face of strength in front of the lord and he will nestle you in his love. Do not reach out to him out of fear or out of acceptance with yourself and the religion, reach out to him rather in the way you are reaching out to us, through want in guidance and raw emotion. He will answer you in the form of love. If you dedicate your thoughts to him taking that pain away and giving you peace in it's place, it will happen. You don't have to dedicate years and years and years of prayer... he feels your pain and is waiting for you to ask him to take it away in his name. It is the only thing that worked for me and I am forever grateful.
I pray for you to continue to open your heart and a dialogue with the lord. Forget about the pettiness of the religion (which has been distorted and corrupted by man). Just remember the essence and the main message of the lord. He is here for you, he is the truth, he is the one who can take away your fears and emotions if you want to give them over to him. May God bless you always, amen.
Many hugs to you, please keep us updated in your search.
When I am confused about something I often go to the BIBLE for help, guidance and direction . Sometimes I am enlightened by a single verse and other times I have to read more BUT GOD is faithful HE will not give us more than we can handle .
JESUS CHRIST is the only way, I am narrow minded .
God BLESS YOU and I will pray that JESUS makes your path more clear .
