Become a nun

Im wondering where or how you can get into the kind of work nuns do. Work in a missionary or just pray all day with others like nuns do in a church. Not sure what it would be called or how to do something like that. Does anyone else know?

I would check into Your own Church or the Church's around You I'm sure they will be able to help in anycase. and then there are missionary's out there you can also look into on line. I not to sure I can be much help in this other that what I have given you.

Go down to your local shelters and volunteer. I am starting work at the Dream Center here in Tulsa right after the first of the year. Do volunteer work for your church, maybe help in the kitchen or cleaning around the church. I am 67 and still clean the whole church after all services and help in the kitchen for funerals, weddings, etc. There is always work to do if you look around.
Most nun's don't just sit around praying all day. They work, and work hard most of the time for their whole lives. If you are talking about social services work then you will need schooling and training before you can do that kind of work.
