ANOTHER SISTER HAS GONE HOME

Brothers and Sisters, anohter dear friend of mine has gone home to Jesus. We celebrater her homegoing today. Her funeral was a thing of beauty. Yes there was saddness on our parts. We will miss her. But we celebrated for her. She has reached HOME. The place we all long to be, even though we struggle with the flesh. Her family is greatly saddened by thier loss. They like many other families of terminal patients believed they believed they were ready, that they were prepared. The shell shocked look on her daughter's face told a different story. Please pray for them. Thier last name is Mahan.

I think you can never really prepare for the reality of death. I know as my father has almost died so many times over the past 2 months, even though he knows the Lord now, it will still be difficult for me. My prayer is the rest of my family will come to the Lord.

I will be praying for this family, and thank you for being so sensitive to the Holy Spirit and recognizing the family's need.

I will certainly pray for the family.

I've been through both parents having a terminal illness and in hospice. One is never prepared for the actual death when it does come.

This was the same with my nan, my mum said that even though she had been ill for a long time when it happened she still felt really stunned. I think all the time they are with us they are with us if that makes sense, in whatever capacity, physically they are still there. When they leave they are really gone, even if we know where they have gone it is still a shock and the grieving process starts there. I will be praying.
