Kathy, I understand your anxiety, not because I have experienced it myself, but because of a surgery my daughter had over the summer. I was so anxious that I thought I might make myself sick, not to mention how she felt. As the days got closer my stress grew, and then one day a very good friend of mine took me aside and began to lovingly and gently remind me of all of the attributes of God. Loving, Gentle, Sovereign, all Powerful, the "Great Physician", Mighty Healer, Living God. She also brought to mind all of the times He had held us us, answered our prayers, heard our cries and got us through. After that, I kind of felt the Israelites who seemed to always forget the greatness of God until times got tough, and then they would cry out for Him to save them. Times were tough for my daughter and me, and I forgot how awesome God is, was and will always be.

Kathy, you have women her who care about you and are praying for you and God is listening. He knows where you are at, he knows your anxiety and fear, and He loves you. "The Lord is my strength and my salvation, whom shall I fear?" Psalm 27:1

Kathy-Do not talk nonsense about being "too needy". There is no such thing
thing . You will get thru your trial and come back 110% with more Faith and knowledge to help everyone else get through theirs! That's what friens are for. Sometimes,(Iknow for me anyway) women have to stay strong for their families. You need a place where if you are scared, you can say so, and be reassurred. So you type away sister! and if your fingers get
sore,I've got free long distance, I'll be happy to talk on the phone!
(I talk better than I type, anyway!) By the way, I've been meaning to
ask you, are you by any chance coming to Duke Hospital for your surgery?
(If I am being way too nosy, just say so,lol...Seriously)

thanks...i wish i were going to duke but no it will be in willmington..still a good hospital. i wouldn't go near surgery here in jacksonville..this hospital here in jacksonville has a horrible reputation..i'll find out more monday when i go in to talk to the surgical nurse..i have free long distance also would love to talk some time melo..again thank you all my surgery is on the 23rd next week.I trust God above all of them.

i am praying and thinking of you, it,s the worst thing having to do something that you no is going to help you, but not wanting it, such a hard place to be, each operation was like this for me,so i feel for you, take care, and loads of hugs comming your way.

thanks gardener a little at at time and off and on i'm becoming more accepting..God is good..i do see how this could have been worse not to mention all the support i've gotten in here He knew what i needed..

We are here to pray for you BUT we are here also to remind you and ourselves WE SERVE AN AWESOME GOD... When you are in a panic, or at least I forget all the scriptures, I have read...I need someone to bring my mind back to the Lord...Thank God I have friends here that pray AND get my mind back on the LORD...Thats what Christians do for each other...love cathyww
