I have found this true so many times. Especially in my dealings with people who I meet daily. There are comments about my health issues. Many talk about howy attitude seems so upbeat. I then can tell them why....my Lprd helps me with this!!!!

I agree with Mary. Just behave the same way as you always do. If you pray over your meal, just say, "We pray before eating and you are welcome to join us," and leave it at that. Most people (non-believers) won't be uncomfortable unless you make what they consider a big deal. They already like you and if they feel comfortable around you, they might ask about your faith...then the door is opened.

Misred thats really good about the meal prayer..My husband always says grace and its ...for the food we are about to receive , let our hearts be truly grateful. amen

I can't really "add" much to the great comments posted here, but I will say that you just need to let the "light" of Christ shine from you. If they happen to "inquire" about your faith then, as Misred put it so well, the "door" is indeed opened. If that happens take advantage of the opportunity and share the beauty of God's love in your life. Take care and God bless you my friend. :)

Missing Compost

Giving God the praise for our food is a great way to show someone that you love God and Jesus.
I to miss Compost.

Sorry I missed the conversation....1st I miss compost too....
Be yourself...and if god opens the conversation to beliefs (if they start to ask about things going on in the world or things about god or your beliefs)...then slowly bring in the conversation of what you belief and about Jesus.

We had a great time. .A couple things happened...They asked me about someone and i told them the story of how I bumped into a relative at church..so then they knew..but they seemed shocked in a way but also still accepting of me.

They wanted to see some pictures and i had some old photo albums they all looked through each one..After they left i looked through the albums myself..I noticed on one page in amongst the photos , i had placed a small card which says...When God closes a door, He opens a window...Gods way of speaking to them through me.

I do feel sad now because they are going back tomorrow, I do feel blessed and grateful to know them better now.

Wow! I truly believe that was a sign. I may not be a smooth path, but It looks to me that God is saying He's going to do something. (((HUGS)))
