I will start. I have been battling a bad cold but am on the mend now.
This year, we are not baking a lot of treats because we have changed our diets and have cut out sugar. I didn't send out cards either..just sending e cards.
Focusing on helping homeless and needy, I met a woman the other day named Millie, she is homeless and has lost all 6 of her children as the authoritys have placed them in foster care..she was so sad as she confided in me, a total stranger. I promised that I would pray for her and gave her my number. She said she was hoping to have Christmas at a friends house and that she sleeps either at a friends or the mission. She told me that she wont be able to even visit or kiss her children at Christmas..I pray she does see them

My immunity is down. Last week I had a cold sore and some other issue I am under treatment isn't going away so I called the doctor and she prescribed something stronger. It has caused me to have to forgo plasma donations. I do them so I have extra money for groceries. I got some bad news on my car yesterday, but I know the Lord will take care of me.
I do feel good about Christmas. I did send out half the cards last week and I finished the rest this morning. I got most of my Christmas shopping done on Tuesday. I went to Kohl's and found a nice sweater marked down to $8 so I got it for me. I'm wearing it today. I have managed to find good gifts for my loved one that do not cost a lot and will be used.
Those of you who prayed for my sister, she had the lump from her breast removed Monday. The surgeon said these types of growths or tumors are seldom cancerous (10% chance), because they do grow fast and should be removed ASAP in order to make recovery easier. I don't know the results on any tests. I'm thinking no news is good news at this point. She's back at work. Thank you for the prayers
I passed my last two classes and I'm looking forward to the break until next semester. I have let a lot of things go around the house.

I come from a large extended family. Lots of cousins , some of my Aunts are still alive. My Mom is in a Skilled Nursing Home .
This year. my family has decided to make Christmas , all about " Family " and the blessings we have, not about who can buy the biggest most expensive presents.
I am glad to see this trend in my family.
Most, but not all, share a belief in Jesus as Lord.
I continue to pray for those in my family whoo need salvation and the peace that passes all understanding.
I will pray for my DS family as well. Hoping 2014 is a peaceful . calm and blessed year

Maybe, you can add a prayer for my competitive , jealous family .There are less than a handful who know JESUS is the true meaning of Christmas .

JESUS will not give us more than we can handle . It is rough down here but joy will come in the morning when we are all rejoicing in HIS Kingdom .I'll see my baby & you will be with your son !! The physical and mental pain that we experience will diminish ,completely .
