"And as He (Jesus) sat upon the Mount of Olives, the disciples came unto Him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?"
vs-4 "Jesus answered them and said unto them"take heed that no man deceive you".
vs-5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ, and shall deceive many.
Vs-6 And ye shall hear of wars and rumors of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass but, the end is not yet".
vs-7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines and pestilences, and earthquakes in divers places".
vs-8 All these are the beginning of sorrows."
These are the scriptures used by Mr. Camping that says the end of the world is May 21, 2011.
Jesus said in Matthew 24 vs-36 "But of that day and hour knoweth NO MAN, NO, not the angels of Heaven, but my Father Only.
Now, either Jesus is a Liar or Mr Camping is a false prophet.
Do we place our future on Mr Camping's declaration or do we place our faith on the words of Christ.
Do we find anywhere in the Scripture, that Jesus was wrong about anything He said or done?
Do we find anywhere in the Scriptures that Christ ever sinned?
The answer to both of these questions is NO and NO!!!!!!!!!!
Now let's make a comparison between Christ and Mr Camping.
Jesus was the Son of God. He had an earthly virgin mother and, A Heavenly Father--God
Mr Camping had an earthly father and an earthly mother--not a virgin mother.
Jesus never sinned--Mr Camping was born a sinner. Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and come short of the Glory of God.
Jesus raised the dead, healed the sick, cleansed the leper, cast out demons, made the blind see, made the lame walk, made the deaf hear, walked on water and was resurrected after His death,
Mr Camping has done none of these. As a matter of fact, Mr Camping is not even a Seminary Student nor is he Ordained or licensed by any church to preach the Gospel.
Here is some published facts about Harold Camping:
1. He predicted the Rapture would occur in 1994 . It didn't happen so, now he says he is right on May 21, 2011.
2. He says that Michael the Arch Angel and Jesus are the same person. Jesus was born of a virgin named Mary, who was of the lineage of David, that was prophecied hundreds of years before His earthly birth. Michael the angel is a created being of God. Michael did not come to earth is human form and die on the cross of Calvary for the sins of man. Jesus did. This is a false statement and teaching of Mr Camping.
3. Mr Camping says that the Great Tribulation started in 1988. If that were true, it should have ended in 1995, according to scripture. The tribulation lasts 7 years. After the 7 years, Jesus comes back and sets up His millenial reign in Jerusalem for 1000 years, in the Temple.
a. Jesus is not here.
b. The temple is not built.
c. Jesus is not reigning from Jerusalem at the present time.
4. Mr Camping says that all churches are Apostate and ruled by Satan, that God has employed Satan him to do so as well as, rule the whole world.
A. Jesus said that "He (Jesus) would build His Church and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it."
Matthew 16 vs 18. Mr Camping rejects this statement of Jesus therefore, he is calling Christ a liar.
5. Mr Camping says that those who have died prior to may 21 2011 will not be affected by or experience the Rapture or the end of the world.
The Bible says this. Rev. Chpt.20 vs 11 "And I saw a Great White throne and Him that say in it, from whom the earth and heaven fled away: and there was found no place for them" vs13-" And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God: and the books were opened: and another book was opened: which is ths the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things what were written in the books, according to their works. vs13- and the sea gave up the dead that were in it and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged EVERY man, according to their works. vs-15 And whosoever was not found written in the book if life, was cast into the lake of fire.
Mr Camping also says that on May 21, 2011, all the graves shall be opened. The bodies of the unsaved shall be thrown all over the ground to lay in shame
Mr Camping believes in total annihilation of the unsaved, that they will burn up and that will be the end of them. This is a belief of the Jehovah Witnesses.
Mr Camping says that if anyone does not believe in what he says about May 21, 2011 being the day of the Rapture. that those people are not saved. He says that anyone who disagrees with him is an idolator. He also says the Holy Spirit is no longer working in churches today.
Now, Let me close by saying this. There have been great preachers over the last 100 years. D.L. Moody, Charles Spurgeon, R. A. Torrey, W. A. Criswell, Jack Hyles, Curtis Hutson. S. M. Lokeridge, Billy Graham, just to name a few. All these men believed the Scriptures for what they said. All these man believe in a literal resurrection of the body both saved and unsaved. They believed in the Judgment of God and the saved being in Heaven with Christ for Eternity and the unsaved being in Hell for eternity. None of these men ever stated that they knew the month, day, and year of the Rapture and the end of the earth.
I wonder how many souls Mr Camping has won to Christ?
If a person really believed in what Mr camping states to be true. them in 3 days, it will all be over. We do not have to pay taxes, if we pay quarterly. we do not have to make another house payment. we do not have to make another car payment, we do not have to pay any insurance premiums that are due this month or next, we do not have to buy any more groceries, we do not have to read our Sunday School Lesson for Sunday, we do not have to think about attending church Sunday the 22nd. We do not have to think about who will be running for president, it won't matter what our National Debt is or, to whom we owe it, we will not have to be concerned about the wars in Afghanistan or Iraq. about the future deployment of our loved ones, we will not have to pay any utilities this month, mow our grass next week or fill our cars with gasoline. We will not have to go grocery shopping Sat. for our families. we will not have to get a haircut, we will not have to feed our animals, the farmers can stop planting or farming, we can air lift all the soldiers stationed around the world to spend the last 3 months with their families, Congress can go home and the President can leave the white House, all the Policemen can stay home, the hospitals can all shut down, because everyone is going to be dead by Oct; anyway, according to Mr Camping.
Jesus said in Matt. 7: 15 "Beware of false prophets which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves".
Jesus said also in Matt 7: 16 "Ye shall know them by their fruits".
Those of you who may be new Christians and those of you who may be concerned about this man's prophecy. Be not dismayed or disallusioned, by this man. The end will come when GOD says it will come and I have read some of Mr Camping's beliefs and they are not in line with scripture but, are twisted to make them fit HIS way of thinking and HIS beliefs.
GOD is in control of this world, this universe, His church and, His people, not Mr. Camping. Things will happen like Jesus said they will happen. Jesus has never been wrong,.......Mr Camping has and is.

this even applies to us who bring the message here and anyone else who stands in a pulpit. early on in this ministry i told everyone to search the scriptures for themselves and if i erred (i was the only one back then bring the messages) to please come to me in a private message and let me know, with scripture to back up what they were saying, and if what i said was wrong i would openly apologize. as long as Oldbiker has been preaching, i am sure he as well would be willing to have conversations in private messages with those who might disagree with anything he brings because my dear friend is the best! i love him for his dedication and for his diligence in protecting us from the things and people who could draw us away from the truth! again thank you so much for this!!!
i first heard of this insanity at my chiropractor's office, he nor the office manager is saved, they look to me as the 'expert' on such matters because they know i am a real Christian. i told them that the Bible says that no one knows the day of the return of the Lord. i told them i would look into this claim and get back with them with the truth. with this message i can show them just how untrue it is. i marvel that in the face of possible 'extinction' they came to me, they joked but i could see that they were concerned about this.
i will use this false prediction as a witnessing tool however, to let them know, He could come anytime and that the only thing we can take away from this prediction is that we have to be ready. this doesn't mean being really good, because we can never be good enough, it does mean we need to make sure we actually have that personal relationship with God through the sacrifice of the blood of Jesus that is necessary for us to be ready to live forever with Him!
His second coming could be in the next second, minute, hour, day, week, month, year, etc. Are you ready?
