Christian Church 24.7 Ministry Community Group
Welcome to our church! We are glad you have chosen to join us. Please read the important guidelines for the group first.
What kind of Teacher are you? Psalms 35: 8 51:
OLDBIKER
These are writing of King David. He had a lot of things in his life that weren't right at times but, he always went to the Lord in Repentance.
One thing we must remember is that God has provided a way of salvation for sinners.
Some who read this message today may be teachers. Every fall, you go to the classroom, fix it up, maybe paint or see that it is painted, get everything ready so it will be nice for the students that will be coming later.
God meets us where we are-lost in sin
God lifts us up to where we ought to be.
1. God teaches sinners through the message of the cross. We are made righteous because of the cross. God proved his love for us by the Cross.
Stop and think for a minute. The dross is the dividing line of humanity. Luke 23: 32-43
One thief trusted Christ and was pardoned of his sin. The other thief rejected Christ and perished with his sin. Question is, Which side of the cross are you.
saved people are saved because they have put their faith and trust in Christ as their Saviour. Being a good ole boy won't save you. Lost people are lost because they have never trusted Christ's sacrifice on the cross for their sin and asked Him to save them. Jesus died for you soy YOU must personally accept and ask Him, I can' do it for you.
2. God teaches sinners through other Christians:
We are to let out light sign before others. We are to be examples of Christ. We are to do our best to let others see Christ in us. I don't mean be self righteous and think yourself better than someone else.
We are not to be hypocrites either. You can't cuss and tell others not to. You can't be a drunk and tell others not to drink. You can't run around on your spouse and tell others not to.
Unsaved people will look right through you and turn you off like a radio with bad reception. It is important how we live as Christians because souls are at stake.
Question. Will unsaved people want to come to Christ by watching you or me?
3. God teaches sinners through circumstances:
Saul of Tarsus, met Jesus on the road to Damascus. He was proud, self centered, religious but lost man. When he met Jesus, his whole life changed and he spent the rest of his life winning others to Christ. the Philllipian jailer believed due to an earthquake. What caused you to come to Christ?
The thief on the cross asked Jesus to "remember him when He came into His kingdom-"--Luke 23: 42
Saul (who became the Apostle Paul) asked Jesus "Lord, what will you have me to do"? Acts 9 vs 6. The Phillipian jailer asked Paul and Silas "What must I do to be saved'? Acts 16 vs 30.
Jesus will forgive and save anyone and all we have to do is ask. Romans 9 Vs 20 says if we confess with our mouth the lord Jesus, and believe in our hearts, that God has raised Him from the dead, we shall be saved.
Organized Religionists today, try to make salvation so difficult. Jesus has already done the hard part my friends, all we have to do is to believe and accept what he has done for us and ask Him to save us.
My God add His blessings to this message.
