So my 8 year old son just started meds for his ADHD.    We are in week 3 and this has been the worst week.    My sweet boy has been replaced with a cranky, angry, tired, stomach-ache, disconnected, crying, etc., child.    He's only on 5 mm twice a day of adderal.    I've always felt my son has the AD part of ADHD (can't concentrate, learning is difficult), but he's never really had the HD, hyper problem (he really doesn't get out of control or have outburts...he's a bit figety sometimes, but that's about it).....so now I feel like I'm left with a zombie of a kid.     I'm feeling a bit lost and scared.    I know we just started this journey.    Going to talk more with his Dr. about it next week, but if anyone has any similar experiences, would love to hear.
