I always knew there was something different about me. In college, a professor suggested I get tested for a learning disability, even though I got As and Bs in grade school. I didn't do it because I never felt I had a problem. Now I'm currently working and I think I lack focus on work. Now is the right time to meet the doctor I think. But, before I start the treatment or go to an ADHD coach, I wanna know all the possibilities available for this condition at Toronto. Why do people consider this to be associated with depression? I know this is a long way to ask but how will it work out? Do I need to take pills or is it gonna be just counselling?

I'm just 13, so I'm not the best source. But being a sufferer of ADD/ADHD, welcome to the club LOL! I have been taking adderal since I was five. ADHD is like a snowflake, with every case being different and having different dealing measures. So, you wont know if you need pills, counseling, or both until you visit a psychologist, or even better a neurologist. If I were you, I would get diagnose and testes by a neurologist as they are more knowledgeable about the brain. Wish you luck!

I’m 14 and I have had ADHD for as long as I can remember. I didn't have to take medication until last year. If you do have ADD/ADHD than they will try to find the best way to deal with it. I still haven't found the right medicine or dose for me and I have tried about 5 different types and at four different level of each. Some people may have trouble with their meds and some may get it on their first try. I also do therapy they both have really helped alot, but you don't need to worry it just takes time and you will find what works and what doesn't over time. Good luck.
