what do you want her to know? wishing her a happy anniversary is opening a door to conversation... is that what your looking for??

We started this A 8 months back and I am in this situation for the first time. I am really in a confused state and I don't know what to do. That's why I asked for all your advice.

I haven't met her in the past 6 months, but constantly in touch through texts. She asked me to spend time with her for one week during the Spring break (April 1st week). We both feel guilty about our spouses. I am worried where this will lead to in the future.

ok, that tells me that getting ahold of her today may not be what you really want to do in your heart.. i would take it as a jab if my ex contacted me on my anniversary and said "happy anniversary"... i would take it as though he was rubbing it in my face... so, she may take it wrong, if you do text her..
do you want to start up the A again??? and see her??
it usually doesnt lead to anything good.. but you need to figure that one out ...

Heard, thanks for your advice. As you mentioned, she may take it wrong if I text her.

But, I am not an ex and we are still continuing in the A from the day it started. Only thing is now it is a long-distance relationship, surviving on texts and emails. Her husband lives in another city, 2 hrs away and comes home only once in a week or two. We are emotionally connected to each other.

Please do not intrude yourself into their marriage. It seems fairly hypocritical!

No happy anniversary wishes. She should not have told you that her H gave her a gift. An affair requires completely compartmentalizing the parts of your lives. Whether or not you go away together April 1, it will be a major head trip for you. You think you feel guilty now? Just wait! If you do decide to go ahead, which I think you will probably do, please PM me. I'm a veteran of those wars and will be happy to share experiences with you.
