One poster sent me a link to a long FAQ for BS issues. Very eye-opening. One of the questions was about MC and referred to a couple of programs.
Does anyone here have any experience with Imago Therapy or Retrouvaille? Any others? I've always been a skeptic about these sorts of programs, but at the same time I've been unimpressed with MC we have had in the past. But maybe now just doing something will help me move beyond the NC anguish and use this to rebuild my marriage.
And now I'm actually going to get to work and check in here later.

I will not say to you that Retrouvaille is not worth your time or money. If it is effective to you in revealing truth that you would not have otherwise known, it is valuable. However, I believe its particular value is as subjective as any other intimate situation, and I think it is more predictable than not, despite the lofty rhetoric that surrounds these sessions. I was inspired by the people who read their testimonies about reuniting despite seemingly hopeless divisions, which included extensive cheating and multiple separations.
As for my individual situation, I found that my intuition was both confirmed and denied. One tough learning was how imbalanced my wife's feelings were - which was definitely to continue to the marriage - in juxtaposition to her willingness to act, even on small things. That at least helped me go forward with my emotional break, which I found very, very difficult to make despite what I knew.
