Oh why oh why did I choose a co-worker of all people? It is always an awkward feeling when I see this guy. He always speaks to me and looks at me like we can start back up where we left off. And he makes it so obvious considering he's married. Just how obvious you ask? So my family picks me up from work today and as soon as I get to the car, they were all like, "Oee we're going to tell [ex-boyfriend name] that you have a guy out here trying to talk to you." My mom was like, "When you walked off that man was still looking at you."

Holy crap. My family friggin picked that up from a distance! I will have to work more and more with this guy, and all I know is he had better not screw up my career. He is indiscreet as all hell. I should've listened to all those who said don't poop where you eat. Oh and the affair was done over 2 weeks ago but not in his head. Argh! Just say no to workplace affairs. Well say no to affairs, but especially workplace affairs. I know dating your coworker sounds like a great fantasy, and it is, but once the fantasy is over, oh boy...

Of course I don't know where the circumstances of what kind of place you work. I'm sure this isn't an option or you would have thought of it.....changing departments, office locations? I know a very dear friend who had an AP who was harassing HIM and he actually switched jobs to get away from her.

On one hand its only been two weeks, emotions are raw at that time....you could also just keep your focus and see how it is in a month or so.

WM please don't kick yourself too hard for having an A with your co-worker.

I read that 1/3 of A's are between co-workers.

My ex OM was a co-worker also.

One day at a time.

I can only assume most A take place with coworkers because most people don't intend to cheat so they are not out searching. Work is a, social place. People have an opportunity to get to know eachother ands even get together with groups after work.

To me it's natural. My 2 longest relationships were with guys I worked with. The current being my H.

He's not harassing me. It just sucks that we have to run into each other from time to time. I don't know where he stands right now. Maybe he simply contacts me from time to time because he really is just being friendly. I don't trust him anymore so I'm not giving him any benefit of the doubt. We are in different departments, and we work in different buildings. I am just annoyed because I can never escape this part of my life as long as i or he works at this company.

PP66, I normally don't flirt or socialize with coworkers. He actually came on to me. Feeling lonely in a new place is what finally did me in amongst other things. Only desperation would make me consider talking to a coworker again.

Fourth of July weekend the walls felt like they were closing in on me. I began to have suicidal thoughts again. I felt like I needed to let the OM know the trail of damage he left behind while he still gets to go snuggle up to his wife. But I didn't. All I told him was I couldn't live anymore. And by that, I broke No Contact. Naturally he took that as a license to check on me every once in awhile. I am getting the instant messages at work again. I feel rude if I don't respond, but I'll get trapped again if I do. I can't even enjoy the place I work anymore.

I can't just go talk to a doctor. To my knowledge, there are no offices that stay open by the time I get off from work. I just have the thoughts. I won't actually do it. I'm too much of a coward. But sometimes I wonder if one day I'd break and say fxck it.

Holy crap. Hell no the OM wasn't great. I'm sad over my ex not the OM. I am just bitter toward the OM that's all. He doesn't want to acknowledge the damage it's had on me. He's very selfish, and every time I see him or get a message from him, I relive this nightmare.
