I'm a bit confused. One because this article didn't address romantic and agape love. I'm guessing you are really intending to respond on the thread where I linked to the article, "Am I in Love" and asked for your take on it. If so, no big deal. If you intended it as a response to the 180 for Unfaithful Spouses article, you'll need to clue me in how or what point(s) specifically in that article you are addressing.
Two, because it seems like you agree with my general understanding of the relationship between romantic (eros) love and the others--friendship (phileo), family (storge), and sacrificial love (agape). Romantic love should lead to a fuller love in the others, based on sacrificial love, and in so doing it feeds romantic love to keep it going, though it will naturally go up and down based on circumstances. But if romantic love doesn't lead to a fuller experience of love, it will burn itself out and die. So I'm not sure in what way it doesn't "do it" for you. It sounds like your experience syncs with what I wrote in "Am I in Love".
What am I missing here?
