Hi ,
I hope I don't get heavily judged, but I need to tell my story and hopefully, someone was in my position. Last year I met a guy from work, he was amazing, charming, sexy, good looking. We hit it off , but I knew he was married so I stayed away, suddenly his marriage was over and he asked me on a date. I went out with him, we had a great time I was told how horrible the wife was yadi yada. I did say to him that he should be single before him and I start anything. He decided to work out on the marriage, he wanted to be friends and I simply wanted him out of my life. Luckily I don't see him much, he doesn't work on my floor and he is mostly outside of the office which makes it 100 times easier. I was depressed last year, I couldn't eat, I couldn't sleep I wish this didn't happen to me and one day I saw him at work and told him that I felt horrible and that it was not fair that he led me on. I know I know I should've stayed cleared. He told me that he loves his family and he would never leave them for some girl there. His exact words. I was like fine I've heard enough. We didn't talk gradually the depression went away, I started laughing again and being my self. Until one day I saw his picture on a dating site. I couldn't believe it I messaged him and asked him for an explanation. He told me he has broken up with her and he lives alone.
We met again things were great, he was telling me how he loved me blah blah and he never felt this way for anyone and that he is very sorry for all of this. I was happy, but my happiness was short lived. Not long after he told me he wanted something casual he wasn't ready I told him that I don't mind giving him space and letting him get on with his life. Literarily the week after he starts seeing some girl and when I confronted him he acted like a j*rk. He told he was single and who was I to ask him. It got so ugly he wanted to come and sleep with me and I was like what about this other girl, he literally said: What girl? Like nothing matters to him. I don't think it ever did.
I got drunk one night after all of this drama. I was angry annoyed hurt I needed some answers. I contacted his ex wife. I know not very wise. I found out everything he has told me has been one massive lie. He didn't move out from her house until a few weeks ago when he met me again and stayed at my house he was living there still. He told me that he lived with his friend since January. (Total lie). She told me how he would go out and turn off his phone not come back until the next day and leave her with the kids. She never cheated on him as he has told me, if anything he was the cheater. She told me that she never asked him for a divorce (Another lie he told me) and she was pretty nice to me and I feel she felt kinda sorry me. She did say his behavior didn't surprise her and she is sorry that he lied to me so much. I felt sorry for her too, they have kids together and she didn't deserve it.I did explain to her that I just needed some answers and that I didn't date him while they were married. He messaged me today to tell me that he would never forgive me and forget this. I told him that he brought this to him self and that I couldn't believe the amounts of lies I've had. How do I move on from this? I really want to meet a nice man and I believe he is out there. I've blocked the guy now. I just can't believe how selfish and arrogant do you have to be to do all of this.
on to his next victim.
You need to talk to a therapist. Why are you depressed? You need to learn the basic of dating. It's easy to look up people and check out their stories.
Men lie, women lie.
You didn't know he was still married and you made it clear that you wanted nothing with him until he was single, so you can say that you had some boundaries.
However, even getting close to a guy who is married already puts you in a precarious situation. You may develop feelings and longing for someone who is taken which will damage you emotionally.
You have to wonder what kind of man/person builds a close personal relationship with someone of the opposite sex while they are married. That in itself shows disrespect for the wife.
Charming/sexy/handsome are nice qualities to have in a mate, but without a good character these don't mean squat.
Character should be the prime factor in anyone you want a long term relationship with.
some woman can only get comfort with married dudes. you don't seem suffer this problem so a new lover that neets your requirements for amazing
, charming, sexy with good appearance will block out past mistakes.
Try not to be bitter over this. It could keep you from meeting a great person.
