I'm a chronic cheater and I've been trying to improve myself but today he told me that after I finish school and get a job I have to move. I dunno quite how to feel yet. But I'm feeling terrible for ruining a good thing I had. Any advice is welcomed.

Sadly there is nothing that can be said that you do not already know. I understand your circumstances, I feel for you. Hopefully you can fund some peace.

take his advice and be a responsible person who supports them self and doesn't harm others with deceptive behavior.

This sounds trite, but in my experience, rock bottom can give you exactly the clarity you need to be the person you were meant to be.

But how "good a thing" was it? Cheating comes out of a deep need that you couldn't find met within your relationship. How do you know that being set free from the relationship will hurt either of you?

It was good, but I've made him pay for a lot of former abuse I've went through. And thank you gravinggirl

Many men would throw you out now. Mine would. Why is letting you stay? He must still care or not feel good about himself. Maybe he's trying to stick up for himself, but can't quite make that push......so maybe, if you want, you can take this time he is allowing you to live under his roof to show via actions you turned over a new leaf......unless you don't want to.

I have been and I will of course. He's told me it's not likely to change and I think it's because he's so much older than me and I can't take care of myself. Maybe he feels sorry for me.
