I finally broke it off with him for good this time and he told me that he was tired of me playing games and that he deserved someone who would treat him better and that he had had enough. What he said really broke my heart and cut me like a knife. I don't know why I feel so heartbroken. Why do I miss him so bad, why that when my husband makes me mad do I want to go running back into the others arms? I'm scarred and wounded and very depressed and a little suicidal. I can only take so much, oh God help me, I've hurt everyone around me including OM. I can't live with myself anymore. I've never felt this aweful my whole life. When I ended it with him today it felt like my heart has been ripped out!! I'll never heal from this
Try stepping up the self care. I think we end up in these relationships because we put ourselves last (as selfish as having affairs is) so I think by putting ourselves first we can help heal.
