I feel much better so far today so i figured i would post something lite for this morning. (Had session with therapist yesterday and he and all of you helped a lot)
Anyway, some of you may recall that a while back i put a post asking to share how you came up with your screen name that you use for this site. Well today i am curious about the avatar images that most of us use on this site, so if you want, please tell us how you came up with you image. I'll go first, frankly the picture of the south west mesa that i use was the only cool picture i could find in the sample folder on my computer. It was either that or a bunch of penguin so i went with those red rock cliffs. Now that i have been here awhile, i see more symbolism in that image. Those rocks have been around for eons and they are still standing proud despite all the stuff that has been thrown at them -that is how i want to be . . .

Turns out they were right. I'm a broken angel. I've fallen. Very far. But I still have wings. And someday, I'll fly again.
Another good idea sedge
At the time I picked my avatar I was probably at the lowest point in my life. The black and white image represented the lack of color in my life.. All had faded to black and white. Hurt, lonely, confused and in despair I had to leave. But the ship is only poised to get underway. Anticipating the new voyage but not yet ready to hoist sail and move on to a better life. That was where I was...at ready to leave for a better life but unable to gather strength and courage to do so. The view of the stern was that of another.. They would be seeing me leaving to be a better man.
