My experience is it only gets worse. One way or another it will end, most likely badly. Get a plan together that will bring it to an end and with as minimal people getting hurt possible. It’s not easy.. I know.

It is an awesome feeling and a great high to feel wanted and desired.
Knowing that someone is out there pining for you, for your body.
Knowing that they are willing to take the risk of getting caught and exposed to be with you.
Knowing someone wants you to be their world.
To even feel a stranger ravage your body as it has never been taken before, allowing you to release your inner desire and to release your desires on them. To be able to escape the real world and just enjoy someone new.
Why do you want to stop? You cant get over it.

we all know that we get complacent, we forget to show the love and keep things flirty.
But the ones that turn to others for that spark are weak and not willing to do the hard work to keep it with us.

Right now you're in the "fog". Enjoy it while you can & please don't view this as an exit plan from your marriage (like I did). Eventually you'll come out of the ether & wonder why you ever did this. Maybe you'll be glad you did it but either way you'll be relieved you didn't end up with your AP. If you don't get caught all you'll have to deal with is the guilt. If you do get caught, well that's a whole other nightmare that will last for years.

Thank you Clovermoon. This has been going on for years and I still have that feeling. I went to end it bc it hurts I can’t be with him. I know what the right thing to do is, I just need some help to do it.

What do you mean by you "haven't had a relationship with your spouse for years"? ARe you still together and just not intimate? or not talking? or are you separated? I'm not trying to pry, but that is usually relevant to the discussion.

He has put everything on me for years. Bills, kids, house. Money disappeared so I made own account. He’s always late with his part of bills so my credit is ruined that’s why I stay. I work and then take care of kids. He works 12-10 then sleeps in the morning instead of helping out. I have no free time, he comes and goes as he pleases. I lost my son at 40 weeks and have PTSD, scared of everything. Instead of helping he makes fun of my fears. I could go on and on

Oh my, you're not in a marriage. You have a very large child. You need to go to counseling to gain the strength to get away from your husband, if that's what you really want. In the meantime continue to stay away from AP. He will only make your life worse. I'm not saying he's no good but you have enough on your plate without him adding more turmoil. Wishing you the best. I’m new to this world but I read your posts and feel the same way you do.
It’s like a ‘high’ I can’t get enough of, and when you come down from it, you feel lower than before you started.
