I'm so sorry you are going through this. I am sort of feeling the same. I'm just really confused and conflicted. My OM just decided he couldn't live without his on and off again girlfriend, and they said they want to get married. Just this last weekend she told me they were done for good, and he was with me all weekend. Then today, they decide they can't live without each other. I also can't do no contact, because he is related to my H.

I went through this about a year and a half ago. It remains one of the most devastating days I've ever experienced. I still remember it well.
The basics help. Plan something for the day, eat and drink well. Exercise. Live as normal a life as you can. And it will pass. It will.

Rose, I feel so incredibly sorry for you. I can feel your pain thru your post & I cry for you. You know what this means right? I know you can't go totally NC but you really must separate yourself from this guy. No matter what he says show him you are the stronger one. Show him you will go on with your life stronger & better than he ever imagined. Let him suffer in silence. And he will....I guarantee, he will.

Rose. I'm so sorry I didn't give you a better reply. I was dealing with some angst at the time. Because I've been there I feel like I simply must. It's 5 am where I am. When I get a minute I'll give you some advice here.

I'm sorry you have found yourself in this situation. I would say yes, he can love her, and probably does. He's getting married to her and she's pregnant, and that's the decision he's made. If you love him, set him free. If you feel intertwined, then untwine yourself from him, or are you intentionally keeping a finger in the pie?

By keeping this love/lust alive, you're setting yourself up for long-term disappointment, and your feelings of love could easily turn to those of revenge, think Glenn Close in Fatal Attraction. And I hope you won't be attending the wedding, as I can see you leaping forth from your seat when the minister announces 'speak now or forever hold your peace'. Leave them be and work on you, yourself and your future happiness. The best way to forget about a man is to meet another.
