I brought this over here from CA group as I feel it more appropriate to BS & CS to discuss in this forum.
Lies I believed: All the lies my CS told me for almost two years instead of following my gut. I wanted to scream out so bad why are we not connecting but I gave space which was received by him to be no support in all (a lot at the time major injuries & business losses) that he was going through. Our filters were so thick that we couldn't hear what we were really saying to each other. Not that it's ever an excuse but how I was feeling at the time I guess it could've been me as CS too.

Mostly Gabi lied by omission during the affairs. But there was a couple times she lied directly to me, one I believed. Once when she told me nothing more than the flirting she'd mentioned previously had happened, when in fact it had turned into highly sexually charged chats. The second time was on dday. When I asked the first time confronting her, "Are you cheating on me?" She replied, "Not really." I didn't believe that one, because I knew by that point she was, though I hoped it wasn't real. Ironically, that response and the way she said it confirmed to me it was real, and not just a story she told her sex chat friend in the log I read.
If I'm lying to myself, I'm a good liar. Because I can't tell. ;)
