Thought 


God answers prayers! Recent research in the recovery of surgery patients for whom others prayed seems to validate this. Our experience suggests it is true. The Bible promises us that it is so. But Luke emphasizes one specific answer to prayer that God-seekers receive. God longs to give us a truly great and wonderful gift: his presence in us through his Holy Spirit. (vs. 13) Because of the indwelling Spirit, God can do unimaginable things for us and through us. 



My prayer


Loving Father, the sacrifice of your Son for my sins is a truly incredible gift. The blessing of salvation through Jesus is more wonderful than words. The gracious gift of your presence in me through your Holy Spirit is comforting and empowering. Thank you for your assurance that as I seek you, you are eager to bless me. In Jesus' name I thank and praise you. Amen

Last night I was looking for my blood pressure machine for my sister in law. I couldn't remember where I put it since we moved into our house a year ago. Iooked everywhere! Couldn't find it. Finally, I sat on my bed and said "God where is it?" I immediately thought, it's in the TV stand. I looked and there it was! God answers prayers. I would have saved myself a lot of time and energy if I had asked Him first! He answers all kinds of prayers.

Yes, yes. Any thought is a type of prayer to God.

I read a quote from Corrie ten Boom tge other day, and thought that can become a worry is enough to become a prayer.

Or something like that.

    Happy Tuesday. I only have a few tasks today. I'm currently enjoying my coffee and checking social media and emails. It's gonna be almost 90 degrees today so I have to monitor the dogs outside activities  How's Tuesday looking for you?
