Champions Of Christ Church Community Group
This is a church, but online! Most people view a church as the building you go to for worship. NOT TRUE. In the beginning, it was a community that shared things. This is a church. A web-based community who can share with others. Feel free to ask questions. There are no "dumb" questions. How will you know unless you ask. I only ask that you have JOY. (Respect of Jesus,...
( Sadly however, there are those Christians who only invest in church on certain events or situations. For me personally, that does work. My salvation was based on certain events or situation. Just a side thought. )
I think it is more of a shame when other Christians who are steady church-goers judge the ones who doesn't go as much to church as no longer having a close relationship to God. I had a period where I stayed away from church for personal reasons and I had one lady who I thought was my friend talking to me as if I was withdrawing myself from God, she didn't even ask me how my relationship with God was but just assumed I wasn't spending time with God just because I didn't go to church. She was very judgemental towards me, even telling me that I reap what I sow. Little did she know that I did reap what I had sown from all my time crying out to God as well as taking my own times in prayer as well as reading in the bible.
I was having a really difficult time, but even though I stayed away from church this didn't mean that I stayed away from God. I had my own times spending with God alone, and at the time I talked to this lady I had already healed a lot and gotten the help I needed, I was so happy and thankful, and had also experienced and seen more blessings from God. It was very disappointing the way she talked to me and not letting me even tell her how I was doing in my relationship with God.
I think what is most important is that each person is saved and has a relationship with God. Then they choose how much they wish to go to church as well as how much they want to participate there. Their salvation and relationship to God shouldn't be based on how much they go to church alone.
God bless you all my dear sisters and brothers.

There are so many people leaving churches at this time; for many reasons. They still serve God, love Jesus and want to life an upright life. They had to leave for a variety of reasons.
That's me and my hubby.
RosePark: Yes, that's a verse which this lady also used when talking to me. A few years ago I talked to a lady who lived close to us which invited me over for a little visit, she hadn't been going steady to a church for some time. Having experienced some bad things in her life. But from what she shared with me she still lived the bible every day, this didn't take away her faith in Jesus Christ.
I think it is more powerful seeing people who are faithful to God through the way they live and treating others in an Christ-like manner, more than those who might go to church and join in all it's activities and then just living a normal life like most other people in the world. Of course, we all will live and do things which is common like people in the world too, we do have to work, we have a daily life which also contains with eating, taking care of family or others, and we sleep too, e.t.c...
I am sure there are steady church goers who also loves the Lord and lives the bible daily as well, so I don't want to put them all in the same box. But it is sad when they judge your faith on how much you go to a church or if you go to church at all. In another site I joined for a very short time I was told that there were Church Christians and Secular Christians, the first option is those who go to church and who takes their faith very seriously, the second option is those who doesn't like church and I guess are more liberal?
You will quickly find out who is a strong faithed Christian and who isn't by how they live their life as well as where they get their influences from. True Christians will always keep God's Word close to their heart and mind, they will have a visible and strong based relationship to God. If a Christian church goer can't see this when meeting another fellow believer which might not go to church but still loving the Lord as much, this person is either blinded by thinking too much of the other one not going to church or he/she may not know Jesus Christ as good. If we all open more up for looking through God's eyes as well as feeling with God's heart we will learn looking past those limits which is so easy putting in front of one's selves,
In some countries there aren't a possibility for many new Christian believers to be going to a church building, it wouldn't be right saying they won't keep their Christian faith strong because of this? They might meet with other Christians in secret or have Christian fellowship online, also reading the bible online.
